I just want to take a minute and explain some of the changes we have made to The Daniel Group logo and website. It all started a few months ago when Lynn and I were looking over the previous website, we both viewed the site and tried to look at it from the perspective of someone who had never seen it before.  We came to the conclusion that even though WE had written it we couldn’t, in good conscience, say that it was an easy to read, easy to navigate, educational site.

We decided it was time for an update. We set out specific goals for our new site.  We wanted it to be easy to read, easy to navigate, and pleasing to the eye.  We wanted to educate absolutely anyone about our business, creating a site that answered questions, allowed conversation, and provided more information than you could ever need (thankfully at The Daniel Group that is never in short supply).

The logo and color change was kind of an unexpected and pleasant surprise.  We contacted a couple of web designers and one of them, just for fun, came up with the new logo and colors.  Lynn and I saw this and loved it.  So we decided to go ahead with it.

We wanted an original site so we decided we wouldn’t use any stock photos.  Our friends at Bonded Logistics, Carolina CAT, and Okuma America, graciously allowed us to take photos at their facilities (Thanks again!).  We now have, in in my opinion, one of the best looking sites on the web.  We also must thank the wonderful and talented Stephanie Chesson and Stephanie Chesson Photography for all their hard work.

It was a long process that couldn’t have been done without Tyler Gordon and everyone at INSite Business Solutions.  Thanks again, everyone, for all your hard work.

If you have a second tell us what you think about the new site on our blog, Facebook, or Twitter.
